How to write a blog post for beginners?
How to write a blog post (for beginners):
For many, sitting down to write a blog post on a regular basis seems like a daunting task. All kinds of questions run through your head. I have similar questions. Where should I start? What am I going to say? How many words do I use? How do I get my content? All these questions revolve in the mind of novice bloggers. Even more, experienced bloggers think so? But see, here’s the thing, you don’t have to be a fluent writer or a master to write a blog post. You need to say something that resonates with your target audience.
They don’t want a masterpiece from you. Generally people want to know some useful information about the subject they are interested in. So when you start writing, study deeply about the topic you have thought of writing and start writing.
Sometimes having a general outline can help jump-start your creative expression. So let me give you some general tips to get you started.
1. Heading
Contents have a strong title first. More people will read your headline first than read your blog post. So you should have a title that makes people want to read the article. If your headline isn’t compelling or interesting, it means you’ve already lost some readers.
2. Paragraph sentence definition
Next, you should have a body paragraph that sums up the blog post. This is very important. Use paragraph to write the article properly for the purpose of the post. And it should be relevant to the reader. After the title, this can be the most important part of your post. If you take too long to summarize what the article conveys to the reader, you may lose the reader. Keep it short, concise, and firm.
3. Images
Now you need to find the best image for your blog post. Images are used to draw your readers into the post. Find a relevant and prominently featured image for your article. This does not mean that you can go online and find any old picture. Remember that most websites have their own copyright rules. So don’t just go to download images online. There are many websites where you can get copyright free images.

The following websites provide the opportunity to download the images we want for free. Make sure you can only use them if you don’t subscribe to a stock image service or have a license to use the image you want. It’s always good and fun to include yourself in a post when possible. This will help your readers connect with you better. Try to share a personal experience or twist with them. Let them know you.
Make your blog post, eyes scan the main body. This means, use numbered lists, and short headers for your readers to quickly scan the article, to know what it is about. Nothing is more intimidating to a reader than looking at a page that looks like endless long paragraphs. Use these short headers to break up a long page.
Some other ways to get people to read more of your blog post is to use shorter paragraphs. Try to use four or five sentences per paragraph. If you do more than that the page will look boring to read. Write sentences as accurately as possible and try to convey the message in fewer sentences. I personally lost out on this one at first. Because I am exactly the king of sentences. It means to write fluently at length. But I suggest you try to avoid them. Shorter sentences make for faster reading.
Sometimes one of the biggest obstacles to people actually writing on their blog is that they feel like every post has to belong. Well, it’s good to have some long-form posts that don’t require everyone to fill in lots of information. Keep multiple posts short. I aim to write at least three to five hundred words to help your SEO.
Another thing is that a lot of people forget to add links to their posts. When you write a post, be sure to include not only links to outside sources, but also internal links to other blog posts on your site. This will help them read your other article as it directs your readers to a different post on the point you are trying to make. You invite your readers to the website and introduce them to other pages of your website. This is always good for SEO.
Finally, encourage readers to participate in discussions on written articles. Try peppering your article with a question for readers to encourage comments on your articles. Commenting on your blog is definitely a recommended move if you have the system.
I hope these insights have given you some useful information to start blogging.
