I am going to show you all the amazing free plugins for WordPress. Now as time changes, new plugins come out and there is a lot of new talent and development. So in this tutorial I am going to share with you, 10 amazing plugins that I have found and that I use on my website. I guarantee you will be using at least two by the end of this tutorial.

ONC Master (One Signal Notification Controller)

Now, have you ever been to a website where that little note comes up, you want push notifications? Well, this plugin actually allows you to collect people’s information and you can actually send notifications through people’s browsers. Now the best part about this plugin is that it’s free, and it’s 10 times better than email marketing. So when I actually send out a post or create a new project, or if I add a new product to my e-commerce website, a number of people will be notified through the browser, and they can click on it and be directed to your website. So it’s a very convenient way to get people to your website and setting up like an email campaign you know. So push notifications are worth a go. Email marketing is still great but if you’re not using push notifications on your websites, get it. It’s a free plugin and it’s awesome. I have a full tutorial on it, and you should have it on every website.

Really Simple SSL

Now, why is this important? Well, Google has had a big update in the last year and if you don’t have SSL on your website, guess what, people won’t go. It is a virus porn website and people can get wrong idea of ​​your website.

So what this plugin does is if you have SSL and it’s not working, it forces SSL to work. So let’s say you have SSL and your hosting company, we don’t know what’s wrong, they recommend you install this plugin. So it’s called really simple SSL and again makes sure people don’t get it as an error. If you know they are trying to steal your content, this will actually remove it, so people can go to your website. So again, this requires SSL it’s not free SSL, but you can always use my hosting siteground.com, and they give you free SSL so I highly recommend getting really simple SSL, especially if you like a little green lock issues right here you guys have this A green lock can be seen. That gives you so people are like, oh it’s secure and it’s like, it’s like, you know, you know, you go to websites like that, so you know, so definitely check out really simple SSL.

WP Fastest Cache

So this is a caching plugin if you don’t cache your websites. This will make your site much faster. It has more than 500,000 active installations. I have seen amazing results so fast caching, this is a free caching plugin. Again, if you’re using SiteGround they give you a separate SiteGround Caching plugin. So if you are using SiteGround you don’t need this plugin. But for those of you who don’t have it, you may need to use this plugin. This is a free plugin. It’s great, and I recommend it to everyone because it’s great.

WPS Hide Login

So what does it do? When you’re using WordPress, unfortunately, you can go to any website and use WordPress. Let’s go ahead and type this into BP Dash Manager. Now once I hit enter, it basically doesn’t allow people access to that little login page because it goes to your website and someone can get your credentials. If it gets your credentials, you’re in trouble. Your site will be hacked. So this is where this plugin actually does it so you can change it to anything you want. It’s a free plugin and it’s very easy to use. So all you have to do is, I can show you guys really quickly. So I can change mine to Dota 2. So mine is a video game, so Nana will give you a login, login right there. So it is very helpful. And it’s really easy under my settings, go here and change your permalinks so hide dps login and then you change it to whatever you want, and then go save the changes and voila, you have a wonderful secret WP admin login. Smush – Lazy Load Images, Optimize & Compress Images

So what it does is it compresses all your images and it gets rid of all the extra space so your site loads faster. So it is very helpful and it has 1 million active installs with 3001 or 66 positive reviews. So for example, let’s say you have 20 megabytes of images, it will try and compress as much as possible without losing resolution and quality to make it 10 megabytes, so I would increase the reduction in size by 35% loading time, or sorry reduce the loading time so I recommend no swish. This is an awesome plugin, try it out, it smushes all your images on your website at once, so awesome.

Join.Chat

Chatting is a live chat feature so if you have live chat available on your website to chat, you are a free service, and people can come to your website and they can start chatting. And I think it’s a good service for making chats. If you want that little box on the bottom right and hey you know how I can help you, I think TMD Hosting has it. Let’s try this. So when you go to this website you’ll see this little chat box right here. So that’s basically what it does so it’s an amazing plugin and you can chat with people running your website, you can even see where they’re going, so that’s really cool. It shows you where they are, where they are. Once you get a like on the sales page you can get a message like, hey, you want to buy it, you know, and they’re like, how do you know I’m here. This is a really cool plugin and I highly recommend it.

Yoast SEO

Of course I know guys all recommend Yoast but still Yoast is probably one of the most needed plugins out there, it’s just awesome. It basically indicates your website for search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. It tells people what your website is about. So for example, I have this browser open right here. And if you go to my website right here or type in Darrell Wilson, you’ll see all these things right here. So that’s exactly what Yost does, it takes all the content, and it puts it in the search engines and displays it how you want it to look. So this is a plugin that helps with SEO, which is great. Most people who are part of SEO companies they all use Yoast and it’s only on page 30% of SEO but 30% is still a big part of SEO so it’s a great plugin that’s very helpful. I use it and it will display your website in search engines according to how you want.

I have a full tutorial on Yoast. And I’m making a new one soon, because it’s a year and a half old, it’s outdated, and the best I’ve got lately is Facebook Messenger Live Chat. Before you think it’s just live chat, this plugin doesn’t contribute much, actually, I have another tutorial. So, for example, this plugin does a lot of different things that it does, it connects your Facebook Messenger with your fan page, it adds social icons, it adds this little chat now, it adds a store map so people can click on it and find your store. Where it is has several additional features in it. Actually, this is a free plugin, they have a pro version, but I think the free version is good enough. So right here I have Facebook Live Chat. And they also have like testimonials, sorry guys here they have a notification box, you can actually display the notification box and go to save. They also have a slide box, like a sticker. See the sticker right here so use it. I’ll go ahead and turn it on and I’ll save it. And I’ll go ahead and use a testimonial.

And then I activate the testimonial. Ok, and I refresh the websites. And now I have this little thing right here for you guys. I have testimonials to the lower left here. And, you know, I really like all of this, so I mean, it’s just, what it does is amazing people. So you are interested in this plugin. I highly recommend it because it’s a free plugin and you know Facebook is becoming more and more popular today, so you know you need to hop on board with a Facebook fan page. If you don’t do that. No. Now that we have some honorable mentions, by default, I guess you can say the essentials when I’m in the top 10, they’re the best solutions based on what you’re trying to do for your website.

Elementor came out maybe two years ago. And since then guys it’s exploded, because it’s the best free page builder for WordPress ever. So you’re looking for a page builder for your website. Elementor is a page builder that makes building websites super easy. I have a tutorial on it that is hands down one of the best page builders out there for WordPress that is free.

WooCommerce

If you haven’t heard of WooCommerce well WooCommerce is a plugin that gives you the ability to sell with WordPress on your website, and generally powers about 30% of all websites on the internet. It’s a pretty reputable plugin and I have a ton of tutorials on Vulk. So if you are planning to sell something on your websites then WooCommerce is definitely your best choice in terms of selling items. Wordfence Security – Firewall & Malware Scan

WordFence is a great security plugin for WordPress, and it constantly scans your website looking for malware injecting trojans, it has all positive reviews with only 2 million active installs. It’s a little heavy and sometimes I’ve seen it slow down depending on what server other websites are on, but it’s still an amazing security plugin. And if you guys are looking for a security plugin. I definitely recommend checking out WordFence. Now, of course, there’s somebody who’s, you know, not listed, that’s not listed like WooCommerce or, you know, contact form seven. But, you know, they’re, you know, I think contact forms are getting a little bit more outdated, because a lot of things today are offering more contact forms because Divi Divi has its own contact form and Themify Beaver Builder Elementor they all have their own contact form, so you usually Looking at contact forms less and less WooCommerce is in a whole different ballpark, especially if you’re trying to sell something. 

So, you know, I guess that’s the reason I didn’t really mention it, and if you guys are interested I know this typing effect isn’t on my top 10 list but you might want to know how I do this effect right on my website. It’s actually called Typing Effect, and it’s actually a plugin. And you’re basically like whatever text you want and it just kind of pops up and it’s really cool.
